ERCOT sends this message to Retail Electric Providers on behalf of the Retail Market Subcommittee (RMS) to clarify the subscription process to the RMS e-mail distribution list. 


Retail Electric Provider personnel that need to subscribe to the RMS e-mail distribution list for any reason including distribution of extreme weather emergency and suspension of disconnect for non‐pay notices from TDSPs should use the process described below.   In addition, Market Participants are asked to contact ERCOT’s Client Services department when they encounter issues or require assistance and avoid sending e-mails to the RMS e-mail distribution list.


To subscribe to the RMS e-mail distribution list:

·         Access the RMS Subscription Management page on ERCOT’s e-mail list management website

·         Enter your name and e-mail address and click “Subscribe”

o   An e-mail requesting confirmation of your request to subscribe is sent from [log in to unmask]

·         Open your e-mail and find the request to confirm your request to subscribe

o   If you do not find the e-mail in your inbox, look in your junk mail folder and consider adding [log in to unmask] to your approved sender list

o   Your request  to subscribe  will be canceled  automatically if  you don't confirm your subscription  within 48 hours

·         Once your subscription is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation e-mail that you are subscribed to the RMS e-mail distribution list
