SHORT DESCRIPTION:  In preparation for Hurricane Laura, TNMP will begin rejecting Disconnect for Non-Pay (DNP) orders in our Gulf Coast Service Area beginning Wednesday, August 26, 2020.

 

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Retail Electric Providers 

                                                                                              

LONG DESCRIPTION: As part of TNMP’s EOP in preparation for the tropical storm warnings issued by the National Weather Service regarding Hurricane Laura, TNMP will begin rejecting DNP orders in our Gulf Coast Service Area beginning Wednesday, August 26, 2020 through Sunday, August 30, 2020. Please see the list of affected counties below. TNMP requests that Retail Electric Providers re-submit any DNPs that are rejected as a result of Hurricane Laura.

 

TNMP will continue to evaluate the situation to determine if we need to extend past Sunday.
