SHORT DESCRIPTION:  In preparation for Hurricane Laura, TNMP began rejecting Disconnect for Non-Pay (DNP) orders in our Gulf Coast Service Area beginning Wednesday, August 26, 2020.

 

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Retail Electric Providers 

                                                                                              

LONG DESCRIPTION: As part of TNMP’s EOP in preparation for the tropical storm warnings issued by the National Weather Service regarding Hurricane Laura, TNMP began rejecting DNP orders in our Gulf Coast Service Area beginning Wednesday, August 26, 2020 continuing through Sunday, August 30, 2020. The storm threat ended and TNMP will end the rejection of DNP orders today. TNMP will resume working DNP orders tomorrow, August 28, 2020. Please see the list of affected counties below. TNMP requests that Retail Electric Providers re-submit any DNPs that were rejected as a result of Hurricane Laura.
