SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT will host a Market Information System (MIS) and ERCOT.com User Workshop on October 21, 2020
INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants
DAYS AFFECTED: October 21, 2020, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
LONG DESCRIPTION: Since January 2020, ERCOT has been hosting Market Information System (MIS) and ERCOT.com User Workshops to obtain Market Participant feedback and answer questions regarding the redesign of these websites. There will be one more workshop prior to the November 11, 2020, MIS Production Environment release. The next user workshop will be Wednesday, October 21, 2020, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. This workshop will address changes to MIS that may affect scripted use of the browser to access reports and extracts. ERCOT will communicate changes to identify potential impacts. Technical users are encouraged to attend to learn about these implementations. The APIs used to retrieve data from MIS will not be changing.
ERCOT representatives from IT Operations, Solution Architecture, and Enterprise Architecture will be available to address questions.
