SHORT DESCRIPTION: The Market Information System (MIS) redesigned site is now live

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: November 11, 2020

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has released the redesigned MIS site to the Production Environment. Market Participants (MPs) should immediately begin using this new MIS to access data and applications. The new MIS URL is https://mis.ercot.com/public/.  

Digital certificates are required to access applications, secure data, and certified data. Existing digital certificates and roles will work on the new MIS site; there is no need to request new certificates. 

The ERCOT Market Information List (EMIL) web interface is now integrated with the new MIS site. The standalone EMIL web interface has been removed. 

ACTION REQUIRED: MPs should use the new site exclusively beginning today, November 11, 2020. The old MIS site will be decommissioned in January 2021. Bookmarks should be changed to the new site and any existing bookmarks to the old MIS should be removed. The new URLs are: https://mis.ercot.com/public for the public site and https://mis.ercot.com/secure for the authenticated site. All users must use the integrated EMIL on the new site and remove the existing bookmarks to http://mis.ercot.com/emil as that link is no longer available.
