NOTICE TYPE: R-A120820-01 Retail Transaction Processing

SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT is experiencing a duplication issue with inbound retail transaction processing

INTENDED AUDIENCE: CRs, TDSPs

DAYS AFFECTED: Ongoing

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has been notified that inbound transactions are being duplicated.  This results in invalid rejections both from ERCOT and from those receiving the duplicated transactions.

ERCOT will hold inbound transactions until a root cause and resolution have been determined and implemented. 

ERCOT will issue a follow-up Notice when normal processing resumes.
