NOTICE TYPE: R-A120820-02 Retail Transaction Processing

SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has resolved the issue with duplicate transactions and normal processing has resumed.


DAYS AFFECTED: December 7 – December 8, 2020

LONG DESCRIPTION: As noted in Market Notice R-A120820-01, Retail Transaction Processing, ERCOT suspended processing of inbound retail transactions due to a system error in which these transactions were duplicated.   The error has now been resolved. Backlogged transactions have cleared and normal processing has resumed.

Root cause analysis is continuing and will be provided when available.
