SHORT DESCRIPTION: Update to the McCamey Generic Transmission Constraint (GTC)

INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: February 4, 2021

LONG DESCRIPTION: Based on the results of the Quarterly Stability Assessment (QSA) for Q1 of 2021, performed pursuant to Planning Guide Section 5.9, Quarterly Stability Assessment, ERCOT has identified an update to McCamey Generic Transmission Constraint (GTC). This update results from the installation of new Generation Resources in the region and the commissioning of the Far West 2.0 transmission project.

The purpose of this Notice is to provide contemporaneous notification to all ERCOT Market Participants of these updates. ERCOT will begin enforcing these new and updated GTCs on February 4, 2021.

Details associated with all GTCs can be found on the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area on the Grid Transmission page under Generic Transmission Limits (EMIL ID NP3-766-M, Report ID 11424). A Digital Certificate is required to access the MIS Secure Area.
