SHORT DESCRIPTION: Implementation Details of NOGRR195

INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: February 5, 2021

LONG DESCRIPTION: On February 5, 2021, Operating Guide language associated with Nodal Operating Guide Revision Request (NOGRR) 195, Generator Voltage Control Tolerance Band, will be implemented.

NOGRR195 modified generator voltage control tolerance bands and clarified the time frame for a Resource Entity or Transmission Operator to provide notice of an inability to comply with a Voltage Support Service Dispatch Instruction or Voltage Set Point instruction, among other revisions and clarifications.  

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Pursuant to Nodal Operating Guide Section 1.3.5, Nodal Operating Guide Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
