SHORT DESCRIPTION: Decommission of the Market Information System Portlet Site date changed to February 24, 2021

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: Wednesday, February 24, 2021

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT changed the decommission date for the old Market Information System (MIS) Portlet Site. ERCOT will decommission the old MIS Portlet site on February 24, 2021. The old site will no longer be available as of this date. The new MIS site has been in production since November 11, 2020. MIS users should have transitioned to using this new site to access data and applications.

All users may access public data on the new MIS site. However, digital certificates are required to access applications, secure data, and certified data. Existing digital certificates and roles will work on the new MIS site; there is no need to request new certificates. Additionally, users should utilize the new URL for any integrations used to programmatically access data from the MIS.

The current ERCOT Market Information List (EMIL) web interface is now integrated with the new MIS site. 

Information regarding compatible browsers for the new MIS site can be found on the Help page.

ACTION REQUIRED: Users should only access the MIS and EMIL from the new site. All browser bookmarks should be changed to the new site. For more information, see the MIS and ERCOT.com Redesign page on ERCOT.com.
