SHORT DESCRIPTION: Posting of the 2020 High Impact Transmission Elements (HITE)

INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: March 1, 2021

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On February 28, 2021, the High Impact Transmission Elements (HITE) list (EMIL ID NP3-153-M, Report ID 14756) for 2020 will be posted to the Market Information System (MIS) Secure area.  The HITE list is created from the Major Transmission Element (MTE) list that was approved by the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) at its September 23, 2020 meeting.  The 2020 HITE list will go into effect on March 1, 2021.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  The HITE list is posted pursuant to Section 3.1.5.13, Transmission Report, of the ERCOT Protocols.  The 2020 HITE list will be posted on the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS Secure) Grid Transmission page under the High Impact Transmission Elements (HITEs) List.
