SHORT DESCRIPTION: Notification of Miscellaneous Invoices for Refunds of Short Payments
INTENDED AUDIENCE: QSE and CRRAH Settlement Personnel
DAY AFFECTED: Settlement Invoices with a payout date of March 1, 2021
LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has issued refunds via Miscellaneous Invoices that contain adjustments necessary to complete invoicing for short pay amounts related to the under-shorting issue for Settlement Invoices with a payout date of Monday, March 1, 2021. Please see Market Notices W-B030121-01, W-B030121-02 and W-B030121-03 for additional information.
Refunds due to some QSE/CRRAHs on March 1, 2021, were reduced due to unrecovered, under-shorted amounts. On March 2, 2021, Miscellaneous Invoices were issued to recover other under-shorted amounts, with a payment due date of March 9, 2021.
The Miscellaneous Invoices issued today, March 10, 2021, refund the payments received on March 9, 2021, to QSE/CRRAHs that were short paid on March 1, 2021.
QSE/CRRAHs due refunds on March 1, 2021, have not received full refunds because outstanding payments remain due to ERCOT.
