SHORT DESCRIPTION: Implementation details of NPRR998 and NOGRR213

INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: April 2, 2021

LONG DESCRIPTION: On April 2, 2021, Protocol language associated with Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 998, ERS Deployment and Recall Messages, and Nodal Operating Guide language associated with Nodal Operating Guide Revision Request (NOGRR) 213, Alignment Changes for May 1, 2020 Nodal Operating Guide - NPRR998, will be implemented.

This NPRR and NOGRR establish a requirement for ERCOT to post a message to the Market Information System (MIS) Public Area every time Emergency Reserve Service (ERS) is deployed or recalled.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Pursuant to Nodal Protocol Section 21.6, Nodal Protocol Revision Implementation, and Nodal Operating Guide Section 1.3.5, Nodal Operating Guide Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
