SHORT DESCRIPTION: The City of Denton v. ERCOT et al. – ERCOT Notice of Plea to the Jurisdiction and Alternative Plea in Abatement

LONG DESCRIPTION: On April 15, 2021, ERCOT filed a Plea to the Jurisdiction and Alternative Plea in Abatement in the civil action initiated against ERCOT by the City of Denton, which is now pending in Travis County District Court.  A copy of the pleading is attached.  ERCOT provides this informational Market Notice because of the possible impacts to ERCOT Counter-Parties who may be necessary and indispensable parties to the case.  The applicable ERCOT Counter-Parties are those Entities who have or may absorb the financial obligations of the City of Denton.
