SHORT DESCRIPTION: NPRR902, ERCOT Critical Energy Infrastructure Information – Implementation Issue of New Digital Certificate Role NMMS_M_IMM_ECEII - Market Participant Identity Management (MPIM) 

INTENDED AUDIENCE: User Security Administrators (USAs)

DAYS AFFECTED: May 25-26, 2021

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT experienced an issue with the Market Participant Identity Management (MPIM) Implementation for the Digital Certificate Role NMMS_M_IMM_ECEII for Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 902, ERCOT Critical Energy Infrastructure Information. This specifically affected users that previously added the role ICE_M_VIEW_ECEII and who had MP USA account changes on their user accounts after the implementation at 3 p.m. yesterday, May 25, 2021 through today at 10:45 a.m., May 26, 2021.

The issue has been resolved. However, any roles requested and changed in the MPIM application yesterday may have been lost. It is recommended that users verify their previously requested roles for ICE_M_VIEW_ECEII to ensure they are still listed in the available roles under their user certificates. If users do NOT see the previously requested role in the list of roles on their certificate, they will need to re-request the ICE_M_VIEW_ECEII role or Digital Certificate.

ACTION REQUIRED: Verify that the all roles are appropriately provisioned for any user who had MPIM changes requested during the impacted timeframe. Re-request ICE_M_VIEW_ECEII if it is not present.
