SHORT DESCRIPTION: Update to the Generic Transmission Constraint (GTC) Interface and Limits for the Panhandle GTC

INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: May 19, 2021

LONG DESCRIPTION: Based on the results of the Quarterly Stability Assessment (QSA) for Q2 of 2021, performed pursuant to Planning Guide Section 5.9 Quarterly Stability Assessment, ERCOT has identified an update to the GTC interface and limits for the Panhandle GTC. This update results from the integration of Lubbock Power and Light (LP&L) into the ERCOT system.

The purpose of this Notice is to provide contemporaneous notification to all ERCOT Market Participants of these updates. ERCOT will begin enforcing the updated GTC on May 19, 2021.

Details associated with all GTCs (EMIL ID NP3-766-M, Report ID 11424) can be found on the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS) Grid Transmission page under the Generic Transmission Limits. A Digital Certificate is required to access the MIS Secure Area.
