SHORT DESCRIPTION: Update to the Generic Transmission Constraint (GTC) Interface and Limits for the Panhandle GTC

INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants 

DAYS AFFECTED: May 17, 2021

LONG DESCRIPTION: Oncor Electric Delivery will complete the energization of its transmission system that will connect to the Lubbock Power and Light (LP&L) system later this month.  As a result of this energization, a new transmission path from the Texas Panhandle will be created.  This will occur in advance of the May 19, 2021 date previously noted in Market Notice W-051021-01 Operations.

Therefore, ERCOT will begin enforcement of the Panhandle Generic Transmission Constraint  to include inlucde this new transmission path on May 17, 2021, as defined in the posted GTC Methodoology on the ERVOT Market Information System.  The purpose of this NOtice is to provide contemporaneous notification to all ERCOT Market Participants of this updated.

Details associated with all GTCs (EMIL ID NP3-766-M, Report ID 11424) can be found on the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS) Grid Transmission page under the Generic Transmission Limit. A Digital Certificate is required to access the MIS Secure Area.
