SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT to release redesigned dashboards

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has modernized and redesigned many of the grid and market dashboards that offer a snapshot of current operating conditions occurring on the Texas power grid. There are nine dashboards that will be located on a single page, including:  

• Supply and Demand (previously Today’s Outlook)
• Operating Reserves and Daily PRC (a redesigned version of Grid Conditions)
• Ancillary Services
• System-Wide Demand
• Wind and Solar (now combined into a single dashboard)
• Real-Time Locational Prices (previously LMP Contour Map)
• DC Tie Flows
• Weather Forecast
• System-Wide Prices

A new release of the ERCOT Mobile App will contain the new Supply and Demand graphics. Apple and Android app users will be prompted to update the app with the new release. Additionally, the MP homepage of ERCOT.com will be rearranged to accommodate the new, larger dashboards. 

ACTION REQUIRED: Market Participants should use the new dashboards beginning July 29, 2021. The old dashboards will be decommissioned and no longer be available on individual pages. Bookmarks should be changed to the new dashboard page. The URL for the new dashboard page will be https://mis.ercot.com/public/dashboards. This link will be located on the ERCOT.com homepage for easy access. Details of these changes are located on the MIS & ERCOT.com Redesign page. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The System Ancillary Service Capacity Monitor display will still be available. However, some elements will be removed from the display. A full listing of URLs and detailed information will be published to the MIS & ERCOT.com Redesign page on Wednesday, July 28.
