SHORT DESCRIPTION: NPRR902, ERCOT Critical Energy Infrastructure Information – Implementation of New Digital Certificate Role ICE_M_VIEW_TOECEII - Market Participant Identity Management (MPIM)
INTENDED AUDIENCE: Transmission Service Provider (TSP) User Security Administrators (USAs)

LONG DESCRIPTION: On July 21, 2021 at approximately 5:00 p.m., ERCOT will implement the new MPIM role ICE_M_VIEW_TOECEII. Following implementation of the remaining Protocol language associated with Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 902, ERCOT Critical Energy Infrastructure Information, on July 30, 2021, TSP Certificate Holders will no longer be able to access ERCOT Critical Energy Infrastructure Information (ECEII) products posted to the Market Information System (MIS) Certified Area that were previously associated to the ICE_M_VIEW_TO role.
ACTION REQUIRED: For impacted TSPs, in order to ensure continued access to ECEII products that were previously associated to the ICE_M_VIEW_TO role for Certificate Holders that need this information, User Security Administrators (USAs) should assign the ICE_M_VIEW_TOECEII role to their Digital Certificates following implementation of the new role at approximately 5:00 p.m. on July 21, 2021 and prior to July 30, 2021.
MIS Certified and Secure Area postings that have been classified as ECEII are identified on the ERCOT Market Information List (EMIL).
