SHORT DESCRIPTION: Reminder - ERCOT.com is experiencing a browser issue that is prompting users to authenticate with a digital certificate

DAYS AFFECTED: August 11, 2021 - September 13, 2021
LONG DESCRIPTION: Users browsing public content on the ERCOT.com website can experience a browser issue that will prompt the user to authenticate with a client digital certificate. Users that have a client digital certificate used to access the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS) secure area may click on their certificate and continue with no issue. Users that do not have an ERCOT MIS client digital certificate are receiving an error that prevents further viewing.
ERCOT suggests that users experiencing the site error clear the browser cache and delete cookies to temporarily solve the issue.
On Monday, September 13, ERCOT will correct the issue by changing all links on ERCOT.com going to the public MIS site, including all public EMIL reports. The new links will begin with https://sa.ercot.com instead of https://mis.ercot.com/.
A complete list of the 149 reports that will be changed is attached.
ACTION REQUIRED: Users will need to change bookmarks and any other links to the new URL once updated. ERCOT will make this change on Monday, September 13.
