SHORT DESCRIPTION: Posting of XSD files and MOTE Testing of Outage Scheduler Functionality for Distributed Generation Resources and Distributed Energy Storage Resources

LONG DESCRIPTION: In connection with the implementation of NPRR1016, Clarify Requirements for Distribution Generation Resources (DGRs) and Distribution Energy Storage Resources (DESRs), ERCOT intends to implement new Outage Scheduler (OS) functionality for DGRs and DESRs with the R-1 release scheduled for February 1-3, 2022. 

The new XML schema definition (XSD) file (“External_Web_Services_XSD_V1.21_NPRR1016”) and a revised version of the EIP External Interfaces Specification document (“EIP_External_Interfaces_Specification_v1_21”) have been posted on the XSD page of the ERCOT website. 

The OS user interface (UI) and external web services will be available for testing in the Market Operations Test Environment (MOTE) beginning on January 10, 2022.  Any Qualified Scheduling Entity (QSE) that wishes to test these interfaces should contact Client Services on or after January 10, 2022.
