SHORT DESCRIPTION: Test of ERCOT.com performance and ERCOT's automated emergency notification system 

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: Saturday, May 21, 2022, 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and Thursday, May 26, 2022, 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

LONG DESCRIPTION: On Saturday, May 21, ERCOT will conduct a performance test on ERCOT.com. The testing may cause some degradation and slowness for users accessing the site. Additionally, on Thursday, May 26, ERCOT will conduct a test of its automated emergency notification system. This test will begin at approximately 8:00 a.m. CPT. This test will result in the following:

• Temporary change of the "Normal Conditions" display on the Grid Conditions dashboard on ERCOT.com;
• Test message posted to ERCOT's Twitter account;
• Pop-up alert and notification message on the ERCOT mobile app;
• Test message to the Grid Emergency Alerts email distribution list; and
• Test message on the Operations Messages and Public Notices pages on ERCOT.com.

ACTION REQUIRED: No action is required.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Users may experience minimal impact to performance and functionality during Saturday's test window including slower response times. Stay informed with ERCOT messaging by downloading the ERCOT mobile app, subscribing to Grid Emergency Alerts, reviewing ERCOT's Use of Energy Conservation, and viewing the Energy Emergency Alert Communications Matrix.
