SHORT DESCRIPTION: Implementation Details of SCR814

DAYS AFFECTED: May 26, 2022 and thereafter

LONG DESCRIPTION: System Change Request (SCR) 814, introduces a limit on the total number of Point-to-Point (PTP) Obligation bid intervals that can be submitted into the Day-Ahead Market (DAM) per Counter-Party (CP). Effective beginning on May 26, 2022, this limit on the total number of PTP Obligation bid intervals that can be submitted into the DAM will apply to the number of interval-hours per Operating Day, and bids submitted that exceed the limit will be rejected automatically. The PTP interval limit will be 10,000 intervals per CP per Operating Day. ERCOT has observed an increased number of submissions of DAM PTP intervals in the last 6-months that have caused increasingly long runtimes. ERCOT will continue to monitor PTP activity and will send a Market Notice prior to any additional adjustments.
