SHORT DESCRIPTION: Opening of ERCOT MOTE for Submission Changes Related to NPRR1093

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT will implement changes associated with Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 1093, Load Resource Participation in Non-Spinning Reserve, during the release period of May 24 – May 26, 2022. NPRR1093 allows Load Resources that are not Controllable Load Resources to participate in Non-Spinning Reserve (Non-Spin) to allow for increased participation in the Ancillary Service.

In preparation for the production implementation, the ERCOT Market Operations Test Environment (MOTE) will be available for Market Participants to voluntarily test NPRR1093 related changes of Ancillary Service Self-Arrangements, Ancillary Service Trades, Ancillary Service Offers, and Current Operating Plans (COPs) starting from May 5, 2022.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: There is an additional change to the "External Web Services XSD NPRR1093 v1.22"

and the “EIP External Interfaces Specification v1.23” document which can be found on the XSD page of the ERCOT website. A modification was made to ErcotInformationTypes.xsd to support a new column added to report type ID 13221.
