SHORT DESCRIPTION: Implementation Details of NPRR1113

LONG DESCRIPTION: On May 27, 2022, Protocol language associated with Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 1113, Clarification of Regulation-Up Schedule for Controllable Load Resources in Ancillary Service Imbalance, will be implemented.

NPRR1113 introduces the following changes to the Settlements System:

Protocol Section 6.7.5, Real-Time Ancillary Service Imbalance Payment or Charge – Updates the definition of RTCLRREGR and RTCLRREG to clarify that the Regulation-Up Schedule from Controllable Load Resources applies only to those Load Resources that are not available to SCED.

ACTION REQUIRED: Impacted Market Participants should implement changes to their shadow Settlement systems to incorporate the Protocol revisions made by NPRR1113.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Pursuant to Nodal Protocol Section 21.6, Nodal Protocol Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
