SHORT DESCRIPTION: Update to the Wharton County Export Generic Transmission Constraint

INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants

LONG DESCRIPTION: The definition of the Wharton County Export Generic Transmission Constraint (GTC) is being updated to reflect changes in the system topology and to allow for more accurate monitoring of real-time power flows.

The purpose of this notice is to provide contemporaneous notification to all ERCOT Market Participants of this update. ERCOT will begin enforcing the updated Wharton County Export GTC on July 1, 2022.

Details associated with all GTCs (EMIL ID NP3-770-M , Report ID 11425 ) can be found on the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area on the Grid Transmission page under Generic Transmission Constraints Methodology. A Digital Certificate with role ICE_M_VIEW_ECEII is required to access this ECEII data.
