NOTICE TYPE: W-A071122-01 General
SHORT DESCRIPTION: Updated short-pay amounts relating to the 2021 winter storm event that are owed to Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs) and CRR Account Holders (CRRAHs).
INTENDED AUDIENCE: Market Participants
DAYS AFFECTED: July 8, 2022
LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has completed disbursement of funds received from Invoices for non-Period of Emergency short-pays, as referenced in Market Notice W-A052622-01 – Settlements. As described in Market Notice M-C052022-01 – Settlements, ERCOT anticipates receiving letters of credit from the PUCT that will fully cover the outstanding amounts from Volt Electricity Provider LP and therefore did not include Volt’s short-paid amount in Default Uplift Invoices. Additionally, amounts incurred during the Period of Emergency related to Brazos Electric Power Co-op Inc. were not included in the Default Uplift Process.
To provide additional transparency to Market Participants, ERCOT provides the attached table that shows the remaining short-pay amounts due to QSEs and CRRAHs. Note that row values may not sum to total amounts due to rounding.
