SHORT DESCRIPTION: Exceptional Fuel Costs submitted for several Resources

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: July 15, 17, 18, 2022

LONG DESCRIPTION: On July 15, 2022, a Qualified Scheduling Entity (QSE) submitted Exceptional Fuel Costs for one (1) Resource for Operating Hours ending 1 through 9. 

On July 17, 2022, a Qualified Scheduling Entity (QSE) submitted Exceptional Fuel Costs for two (2) Resources for Operating Hours ending 13 through 22.

On July 18, 2022, a Qualified Scheduling Entity (QSE) submitted Exceptional Fuel Costs for one (1) Resource for Operating Hours ending 1 through 24, and for two Resources for Operating Hours ending 10 through 24.

Pursuant to paragraph (1)(h) of Nodal Protocol Section 4.4.9.4.1, Mitigated Offer Cap, no later than five Business Days after an Operating Day for which an Exception Fuel Cost is submitted, ERCOT shall issue a Market Notice indicating the affected Operating Hours and the number of Resources for which a QSE submitted Exceptional Fuel Cost for a particular Operating day.
