SHORT DESCRIPTION: Exceptional Fuel Costs submitted for several Resources

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: July 22 - 25, 2022

LONG DESCRIPTION: On July 22, 2022, a Qualified Scheduling Entity (QSE) submitted Exceptional Fuel Costs for:

- one (1) Resource for Operating Hours ending 1 through 24
- one (1) Resource for Operating Hours ending 13 through 22
- one (1) Resource for Operating Hours ending 14 through 21.

On July 23, 2022, a Qualified Scheduling Entity (QSE) submitted Exceptional Fuel Costs for:

- one (1) Resource for Operating Hours ending 13 through 15, and 19 through 21
- one (1) Resource for Operating Hours ending 14, 15, and 19 through 21.

On July 24, 2022, a Qualified Scheduling Entity (QSE) submitted Exceptional Fuel Costs for:

- one (1) Resource for Operating Hours ending 15 through 21
- one (1) Resource for Operating Hours ending 14 through 21.

On July 25, 2022, a Qualified Scheduling Entity (QSE) submitted Exceptional Fuel Costs for two (2) Resources for Operating Hours ending 14, 15, and 19 through 21.

Pursuant to paragraph (1)(h) of Nodal Protocol Section 4.4.9.4.1, Mitigated Offer Cap, no later than five Business Days after an Operating Day for which an Exception Fuel Cost is submitted, ERCOT shall issue a Market Notice indicating the affected Operating Hours and the number of Resources for which a QSE submitted Exceptional Fuel Cost for a particular Operating day.
