SHORT DESCRIPTION: RFP for NWS ERS-30, WS ERS-30, NWS ERS-10 and WS ERS-10 for the SCT of December 1, 2022, through March 31, 2023

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs)

DAYS AFFECTED: ERS Resource Identification information is due no later than November 4, 2022; Competitive Offers and Self-Provision Offers are due November 14, 2022.

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Emergency Response Service (ERS) for the Standard Contract Term (SCT) of December 1, 2022, through March 31, 2023. This RFP seeks participants for Non-Weather-Sensitive ERS-30 (NWS ERS-30), Weather-Sensitive ERS-30 (WS ERS-30), Non-Weather-Sensitive ERS-10 (NWS ERS-10), and Weather-Sensitive ERS-10 (WS ERS-10).

Please note that changes to the ERS program pursuant to the revision of PUCT Substantive Rule 25.507 (adopted August 4, 2022) and NPRR 1142, ERS Changes to Reflect Updated PUCT Rule Changes re SUBST. R. 25.507 (approved August 25, 2022) will go into effect beginning with the December 1, 2022 through March 31, 2023, SCT:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: ERCOT will communicate awarded offers to QSEs no later than November 21, 2022. An ERS Procurement Summary will be posted to the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS) prior to the start of the SCT.
