SHORT DESCRIPTION: Reminder: Request for comments on proposed amendment to ERCOT Bylaws (due September 30, 2022)

LONG DESCRIPTION: The deadline for submission of comments on the proposed amendment to the Amended and Restated Bylaws of Electric Reliability Council of Texas, Inc. (Approved October 12, 2021) (Bylaws) is tomorrow, Friday, September 30, 2022. Please submit comments to [log in to unmask]. All comments received will be shared with the ERCOT Board of Directors (Board) and posted to the Governing Document Amendment Proposals page on the ERCOT website.

The Human Resources and Governance (HR&G) Committee and Board do not intend to vote on the proposed amendment at the October 17 and 18, 2022 meetings. The HR&G Committee, Reliability and Markets (R&M) Committee and Board will continue to discuss overall corporate governance matters, including the proposed Bylaws amendment and stakeholder process enhancements as part of the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) Structural and Procedural Review. The objective is to align all corporate governance matters in a uniform manner by ensuring Board ownership of ERCOT’s governing documents and enhancing stakeholder input and involvement in the R&M Committee and Board processes.
