SHORT DESCRIPTION: 2022 Severe Weather Drill Training

INTENDED AUDIENCE: TOs and QSEs that represent Generation Resources 

DAYS AFFECTED: Drill Date: October 26, 2022; Single Point of Contact Needed: October 10, 2022

LONG DESCRIPTION: The annual Severe Weather Drill, as required by ERCOT Nodal Operating Guide Section 1.5.4, will be conducted on October 26, 2022. All Transmission Operators (TOs) and Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs) that represent Generation Resources are required to participate in the Severe Weather Drill. 

The 2022 Severe Weather Drill is primarily focused on emergency communications between Market Participants and ERCOT.  An event script will be emailed to each Single Point of Contact with the approximate time each simulation event will occur.  As such, ERCOT is requesting the Single Point of Contact be submitted to ERCOT by October 10, 2022.  

ACTION REQUIRED:  Market Participants that are required to participate must submit the name and email address of their Single Point of Contact,  operator desk phone numbers, and a single phone number to use for Hot Line calls to ERCOT by October 10, 2022.  Please ensure the operator desk and Hot Line phone numbers are not real-time operations desk phone numbers.
