SHORT DESCRIPTION: Correction to Partial Implementation Details of NPRR989 and NOGRR204

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: December 9, 2022

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On December 9, 2022, Protocol language associated with Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 989, BESTF-1 Energy Storage Resource Technical Requirements; and Nodal Operating Guide language associated with Nodal Operating Guide Revision Request (NOGRR) 204, Related to NPRR989, BESTF-1 Energy Storage Resource Technical Requirements, will be partially implemented. The partial implementation of NPRR989 and NOGRR204, establishes technical requirements for Energy Storage Resources' (ESRs') Primary Frequency Response (PFR).

All Protocol and Nodal Operating Guide-related sections noted in Market Notice M-B111522-01 NPRR will be implemented except paragraph (2) of Nodal Protocol Section 8.5.1.1, Governor in Service, and the language related to Ancillary Service Type Voltage Support Service (VSS) in Nodal Operating Guide Section 2.3, Ancillary Services.
