NOTICE TYPE: R-A110322-01 Testing

SHORT DESCRIPTION: Flight LPL0423, the second Test Flight of 2023, will be reserved ONLY for existing REPs to test with Lubbock Power & Light (LP&L) for the transition to retail competition. Retail Market Qualification Testing (Flight LPL0423) begins March 14, 2023, with a registration deadline of March 8, 2023.

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Retail Electric Providers (REPs) and Transmission Distribution Service Providers (TDSPs)

LONG DESCRIPTION:  Flight LPL0423, the second Test Flight of 2023, will be reserved ONLY for existing REPs to test with Lubbock Power & Light (LP&L) for the transition to retail competition. Retail Market Qualification Testing (Flight LPL0423) begins March 14, 2023, with a registration deadline of March 8, 2023.

Any REPs that are not currently qualified in the ERCOT Retail Market that intend to test with LP&L in Flight LPL0423 will need to qualify in Flight 0223. The next opportunity to enter the LP&L territory for new REPs that do not complete qualification in Flight 0223 will be Flight 1023.

Due to the second test flight of 2023 (Flight LPL0423) being reserved to existing REPs testing with LP&L, new REPs intending to operate in the rest of the ERCOT Retail Market beginning in 2023 must test in either Flight 0223 or Flight 1023.

Registration for Flight LPL0423 must be completed in the FlighTrak system.
