SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT to release new Learning Management System
INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants
DAYS AFFECTED: December 12, 2022
LONG DESCRIPTION: On Monday, December 12, 2022, ERCOT will transition to a new Learning Management System (LMS). Cornerstone LMS will replace RISC VTA as ERCOT’s LMS solution. All links on ERCOT.com to register for Instructor-led training and to access Web-based training will be directed to the new LMS. Market Participants with an existing LMS account will be notified via email that their account has transitioned to Cornerstone. Account usernames in the new system will be the profile email address that was used to register with the current LMS (RISC). Market Participants with existing accounts will be prompted to establish a new password when they first sign in.
Training history records for Market training courses completed in the current system will be transitioned to Cornerstone. Operations training history (such as for System Operators) will not be transitioned. See below for instruction to download a course history report.
Registration for Instructor-led and Web-based courses can still be initiated from the ERCOT website, with links directing users to Cornerstone on December 12, 2022.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Market Participants are invited to run a course completion report, prior to December 12, for their own records. Reports can be run by logging in to the current LMS and selecting “Reports” from the navigation dropdown. The Student Reports screen will appear, and “All” should be selected from the “Dates” dropdown.
