SHORT DESCRIPTION: "ERCOT and QSE Operations Practices during the Operating Hour" Business Practice Manual Update

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has updated the “ERCOT and QSE Operations Practices during the Operating Hour” Business Practice Manual. Specifically, Section 3.6.1, Fast Frequency Response, has been updated to capture the telemetry changes that were brought by the implementation of FFR Advancement Project. And Section 3.12, Provisions for Energy Storage Resources, has been updated to capture the operational expectations for ESRs that were discussed at the Nov 16, 2022 PDCWG and Nov 18, 2022 WMWG.

ERCOT will provide a summary of the changes to this document at the January 18, 2022 PDCWG meeting as well.

The revised “ERCOT and QSE Operations Practices during the Operating Hour” can be accessed on the Business Practice Manual page of the ERCOT website.
