SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT 2022 SOC 1 Type 2 Audit Report is now available

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Financial personnel from ERCOT member companies and Market Participants

LONG DESCRIPTION: The ERCOT SOC 1 Type 2 Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE 21) Report for the System and Organization Controls is now available. The examination was performed by Weaver and Tidwell, LLP. The result of the examination was an Unmodified (clean) Opinion. ERCOT's Management Assertion is included in Section 2 of the report.

The review period for the ERCOT 2022 SOC 1 Type 2 examination was October 1, 2021, to September 30, 2022. Type 2 reports present an opinion on management's description of a service organization's system, and the suitability of the design and operating effectiveness of controls over a period of time.
