LONG DESCRIPTION: On February 1, 2023, Protocol and Guide language associated with the following Revision Requests will be implemented:

• NPRR973, Add Definitions for Generator Step-Up and Main Power Transformer
• NOGRR196, Related to NPRR973, Add Definitions for Generator Step-Up and Main Power Transformer
• RRGRR022, Related to NPRR973, Add Definitions for Generator Step-Up and Main Power Transformer
• PGRR074, Related to NPRR973, Add Definitions for Generator Step-Up and Main Power Transformer

NPRR973 adds definitions for Generator Step-Up (GSU) and Main Power Transformer (MPT) to the Nodal Protocols and clarifies their uses; and NOGRR196, RRGR022 and PGRR074 clarifies the usage of GSU and MPT in the respective Guides.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Pursuant to Nodal Protocol Section 21.6, Nodal Protocol Revision Implementation, Nodal Operating Guide Section 1.3.5, Nodal Operating Guide Revision Implementation, Resource Registration Glossary Section 1.2.5, Resource Registration Glossary Revision Implementation, and Planning Guide Section 1.2.5, Planning Guide Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
