Notice Type: ONC-R-A020123-01 Oncor to Unexecute all Disconnect for Non-Pay (“DNP”) Orders for February 1st and 2nd

Short Description:
Due to icy and hazardous road conditions throughout Oncor’s service territory and the need to utilize field resources for restoration activities, Oncor will unexecute all DNP orders received for Wednesday, February 1, 2023 and Thursday, February 2, 2023 using the weather moratorium code (V001), even in counties that are not affected by an extreme weather event as determined pursuant to PUCT rules.

 

Intended Audience: Retail Electric Providers and Service Providers

 

Days Affected: Wednesday, February 1, 2023 and Thursday, February 2, 2023

 

Long Description: Inclement weather has caused icy and hazardous road conditions throughout Oncor’s service territory, and the icy conditions are anticipated to last at least through Thursday.  To ensure the safety and availability of Oncor’s field resources, Oncor will unexecute DNP orders received for Wednesday, February 1, 2023 and Thursday, February 2, 2023 using the weather moratorium code (V001).  Under force majeure, the moratorium on DNP orders will also apply to those counties not affected by an extreme weather event (DNP Moratorium) as determined pursuant to PUCT Substantive Rule 25.483(j).  As a reminder, REPs must not send DNP orders to be executed in counties affected by a DNP Moratorium.

Additional Information: Oncor will send a Market Notice with updates if we anticipate any additional changes.
