SHORT DESCRIPTION: Extreme Weather Event – Oncor Suspends Disconnect for Non‐Pay (DNP) Activity for Affected Counties
INTENDED AUDIENCE: Retail Electric Providers
LONG DESCRIPTION: The counties in the Oncor service territory listed in the table below have been affected by an extreme weather event (DNP Moratorium) as determined pursuant to PUCT Substantive Rule 25.483(j).
In accordance with PUCT rules, REPs must not send DNP orders to be executed during extreme weather events for customers in these counties.
Oncor will not execute DNP orders in these counties during the extreme weather events.
Additionally, in accordance with the notice Oncor sent yesterday, to ensure the safety and availability of Oncor’s field resources, Oncor will unexecute all DNP orders received for Thursday, February 2, 2023 throughout Oncor’s entire
service territory using the weather moratorium code (V001).
Red = New counties added
Yellow = Counties extended
White = No new updates
Green = Counties where Oncor will resume disconnecting effective today.
