SHORT DESCRIPTION: Proposal to Add San Miguel - Elm Creek 345 kV Double Circuit Pre-Contingency Action Plan

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has received a proposal from EDF Renewables/RWE to add a Pre-Contingency Action Plan (PCAP) to manage the overload caused by high temperatures in the summer of the Calaveras - Pawnee 345 kV line for the double-circuit contingency loss of San Miguel - Elm Creek 345 kV lines.

The proposed San Miguel - Elm Creek 345 kV Double Circuit PCAP is being reviewed by ERCOT as a part of the 2023 Constraint Management Plans Annual Review.

ACTION REQUIRED:  Any comments to this proposal are due to ERCOT by 5:00 pm on April 5, 2023 and should be submitted to [log in to unmask] using the attached comment form.
