SHORT DESCRIPTION: Notification of Change of Generation Resource Designation (NCGRD) for CPS Energy (CALAVERS_JTD1, CALAVERS_JTD2)

INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants 

DAYS AFFECTED: July 7, 2023

LONG DESCRIPTION: On March 24, 2023, ERCOT received a NCGRD for the following Generation Resource:

• CPS Energy (CALAVERS_JTD1, CAVALERS_JTD2)

The NCGRD indicates that the Generation Resources which are currently mothballed will be decommissioned and retired permanently as of July 7, 2023.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Pursuant to ERCOT Protocols Section 3.14.1.9(2), ERCOT has posted the notification in the list titled “Notice of Change of Generation Resource Designation” on the Generation page of the Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area.  An ERCOT Digital Certificate is required to access the MIS.
