SHORT DESCRIPTION: Notice of Summer Weatherization Inspections to Transmission Service Providers

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Transmission Service Providers

DAYS AFFECTED: June 1, 2023, to September 30, 2023

LONG DESCRIPTION: In accordance with the Public Utility Commission of Texas rule regarding Weather Emergency Preparedness, 16 Texas Administrative Code § 25.55, beginning next week, ERCOT will notify Transmission Service Providers (TSPs) of the date and time for inspections of transmission facilities selected for weatherization inspections. Additional notifications may occur throughout the summer season. The inspections will occur between June 5, 2023, and September 29, 2023.

ACTION REQUIRED: Pursuant to 16 Texas Administrative Code § 25.55(g)(1)(A), TSPs receiving a weatherization inspection notice must acknowledge receipt and provide, within twenty-four hours, the information required to coordinate the inspections.
