SHORT DESCRIPTION: Date of suspension of operations changed – Blue Cube Operations, LLC (DOW_G37)

INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED: June 29, 2023

LONG DESCRIPTION: On March 3, 2023, ERCOT issued a Market Notice indicating that the following Generation Resource is not required to support ERCOT transmission system reliability and may suspend operations on the date in the Notification of Suspension of Operations, which is July 4, 2023:

• Blue Cube Operations, LLC (DOW_G37)

Since that Notice was issued, the Resource Entity has requested approval to suspend operations of the Generation Resource at the end of the day on June 29, 2023. Pursuant to ERCOT Protocol Section 3.14.1.2(5), ERCOT has reviewed the proposal and determined that the Generation Resource may suspend operations on that earlier date. The Resource Entity has confirmed that it intends to suspend operations on this new suspension date.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: ERCOT’s original analysis relating to the suspension of operations of the Generation Resource can be found on the Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area. An ERCOT Digital Certificate is required to access the MIS Secure Area.
