SHORT DESCRIPTION: Steady State Working Group Transitioning to PSS/E Version 35 Node-Breaker

DAYS AFFECTED: August 7, 2023

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On August 7, 2023, the Steady State Working Group (SSWG) will transition to PSS/E version 35 node-breaker format to develop the Steady State base cases. The transition to this more-detailed format marks the completion of SCR789 - Update NMMS Topology Processor to PSSE 34 Capability. Please note that the title of SCR789 remains unchanged from the original submission and references version 34 but SSWG will be updating to version 35.

The Steady State base cases to be published in October 2023 will be provided in the current version 35 bus-branch format.

Starting in June 2024, all SSWG cases will be published in the new PSS/E version 35 node-breaker format.

ACTION REQUIRED: Ensure PSS/E version 35.4+ is installed
