SHORT DESCRIPTION: RFP for NWS ERS-30, WS ERS-30, NWS ERS-10 and WS ERS-10 for the SCT of October 1, 2023, through November 30, 2023

DAYS AFFECTED: Submission Deadlines September 8, 2023 and September 18, 2023

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Emergency Response Service (ERS) for the Standard Contract Term (SCT) of October 1, 2023, through November 30, 2023. This RFP seeks participants for Non-Weather-Sensitive ERS-30 (NWS ERS-30), Weather-Sensitive ERS-30 (WS ERS-30), Non-Weather-Sensitive ERS-10 (NWS ERS-10), and Weather-Sensitive ERS-10 (WS ERS-10).

ERS Resource Identification (ERID) information is due to ERCOT no later than September 8, 2023. Competitive Offers and Self-Provision Offers are due September 18, 2023.

Please note that revisions to the ERS Procurement Methodology pursuant to Other Binding Document Revision Request (OBDRR) 047, Revision to ERS Procurement Methodology regarding Unused Funds from Previous Terms, will change how unused funds from prior SCTs in the same ERS program year may be reallocated.  OBDRR047 is anticipated to be approved in September 2023 to be effective for the October 1, 2023 - November 30, 2023 SCT.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: ERCOT will communicate awarded offers to QSEs no later than September 25, 2023. An ERS Procurement Summary will be posted to the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS) prior to the start of the Standard Contract Term.
