SHORT DESCRIPTION: Notification of Suspension of Operations (NSO) for NRG Texas Power LLC (TOSBATT_UNIT1)
INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants
LONG DESCRIPTION: On December 11, 2023, ERCOT received a NSO for the following Generation Resource:
The NSO indicates that on April 11, 2022, the Generation Resource experienced a Forced Outage. As a result of the Forced Outage, the Resource Entity intends to indefinitely suspend operation (i.e., mothball) of the Generation Resource. The NSO further indicates that the Generation Resource has a Summer Seasonal Net Max Sustainable Rating of 2 MW and a Summer Seasonal Net Minimum Sustainable Rating of 0 MW. Pursuant to ERCOT Protocol section 3.14.1.2(1), a copy of the NSO is posted under the Notice of Suspension of Operations portion of the Generation page of the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area. An ERCOT Digital Certificate is required to access the MIS.
