SHORT DESCRIPTION: Partial Implementation Details of PGRR098, Consideration of Load Shed in Transmission Planning Criteria

DAYS AFFECTED: January 1, 2024

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On January 1, 2024, Planning Guide language associated with Planning Guide Revision Request (PGRR) 098, Consideration of Load Shed in Transmission Planning Criteria, will be partially implemented.  Specifically, PGRR098-related changes in Planning Guide Section 4.1.1.8, Maintenance Outage Reliability Criteria, will be implemented.

PGRR098 adds language to the existing reliability performance criteria to allow a corrective action plan to be developed under certain outage scenarios.

The remaining Planning Guide language related to PGRR098 will be implemented at a later date.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Pursuant to Planning Guide Section 1.2.5, Planning Guide Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
