SHORT DESCRIPTION: Reminder - Implementation of Change in Energy Storage Resource (ESR) Ancillary Service Telemetry

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: February 1, 2024 at 10:00 am

LONG DESCRIPTION: In reference to M-A121823-01, this is a reminder that ERCOT will enable logic to consume the updated Ancillary Service related telemetry from Energy Storage Resources (ESRs) on February 1, 2024 at 10:00 am. ERCOT will issue a Market Notice after this change has been made.

ACTION REQUIRED: QSEs with ESRs in their fleet should prepare to transition to telemetering AS related data using the updated method described in the original Market Notice after ERCOT has enabled the functionality on February 1, 2024 at 10:00 am.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: ERCOT's EMS is backwards compatible. Any QSE with ESRs in their portfolio that is not ready to switch to provide telemetry in the new method will be able to provide as they do today until they are ready to switch to the new method.
