SHORT DESCRIPTION: Notifications of Suspension of Operations (NSOs) for CPS Energy (BRAUNIG_VHB1, BRAUNIG_VHB2, BRAUNIG_VHB3)

INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED: Comments Due April 3, 2024

LONG DESCRIPTION: On March 13, 2024, ERCOT received three (3) NSOs for the following Generation Resources:

• CPS Energy (BRAUNIG_VHB1, BRAUNIG_VHB2, BRAUNIG_VHB3)

The NSOs indicate that, as of March 31, 2025, the Generation Resources will indefinitely suspend operations. The NSOs further indicate that the Generation Resources have a summer Seasonal Net Max Sustainable Rating of:

• BRAUNIG_VHB1 (217 MW)
• BRAUNIG_VHB2 (230 MW)
• BRAUNIG_VHB3 (412 MW)

and a summer Seasonal Net Minimum Sustainable Rating of:

• BRAUNIG_VHB1 (60 MW)
• BRAUNIG_VHB2 (60 MW)
• BRAUNIG_VHB3 (70 MW)

Pursuant to ERCOT Protocol section 3.14.1.2(1), copies of the NSOs are posted under the Notice of Suspension of Operations portion of the Generation page of the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area.  An ERCOT Digital Certificate is required to access the MIS.

All comments will be posted to the Generation page of the MIS Secure Area.
